I saw watched this one on an HD channel recently and was extremely impressed. The plot is very good, the animation was excellent, and the story has a very interesting and satisfying ending.
I didn't realize the film had been directed by Brad Bird (the man behind The Incredibles and Ratatouille) until I saw his name in the closing credits.
The ending leaves the story wide open for a sequel. I wonder if Bird has any plans to ever provide us with one. The film is actually a skilled combination to celll animation and CGI. Perhaps Bird intends to do the sequel as full CGI.
