I read this book in the mid 1970's. I would like to re-read it as an adult
The only things I can really remember about it are that there are these people/soldiers? that can perfectlly judge distances. There is a war going on and these soldiers think they are in the war but in reality they are in a type of suspended animation and are only 'dreaming' their involvement in the war.
There is also a group of young kids that are acrobats? One of them can tumble from very tall buildings and land on the ground without injury.
I have no idea who the author is or the title. The cover of the book was a pretty typical sci-fi cover. It had a lot of blue in it and buildings with spires maybe. Didn't appear to be an "old' looking book. More modern cover than say an old Asimov book.
Any help would be appreciated. I can't seem to get this book out of my brain! It has haunted me since I was a kid. The only way to banish it is to revisit it!! Please Help!!
Thanks,
Mogdragon
