I'm sure the troopers were just, um, out for a stroll, not going anywhere to attack the rebels or anything...

In theory, they should be on the same side, correct? Of course, "Storm Bobbies", just doesn't sound quite right...

Well, both groups represent established governments I suppose, just not the same governments. Does "Storm Cops" sound any better...?

It's unclear whether anyone has posted a link to this or not, but reading 9 pages of posts to be sure is a bit much, so I'll post it anyway. It's a
re-inactment of Eddie Izzard's Star Wars Canteen skit - Quite funny.

That is fun, yes... I see there is a Lego version too. But Vader wasn't
in charge of the Death Star anyway, what about Grand Moff Tarkin...?

That looks great - my first very brief impression was that it was a bride in her wedding dress, but no doubt that will happen.

And Luke will be along in about 9 months. |

A couple things culled out of today's Boing Boing:
First the rerelease of the science fact book by Jeanne Cavelos, The Science of Star Wars! then, this really isn't cool Star Wars stuff for the lady (and people with the same last name as her) going through it, but interesting nonetheless when people with the real Japaneses surname of Yoda can't use it on Facebook! |

An awkward last name to have, that is...

Hmm, "Palpatine for President '08" - there are worse choices out there!

I see that that BoingBoing page comes in at #3 on a Google search for the title. The sponsored link for Amazon.co.uk has the book at £7, too bad the page it
takes one to actually charges £11.09... though if the US list price is $21.95 that's not too bad I suppose. "The usual gang of jediots"...
